1. Why we verify
Because Deepacal processes biometric material and can generate convincing synthetic likenesses, verifying who is behind an account is a core safety control. Verification also protects payment integrity and helps us respond to law-enforcement and victim reports.
2. Baseline verification
- Email verification at registration.
- A valid WhatsApp number with country, validated for format and reachability.
- Two-factor authentication via authenticator app or email one-time code, which may be mandatory for some accounts.
- Payment-instrument verification performed by our payment providers.
3. Enhanced verification triggers
- Unusual purchase, refund or chargeback patterns.
- Reports that a likeness or voice has been used without consent.
- Suspected multi-accounting, ban evasion or shared access.
- High-volume generation, resale indicators, or requests for elevated limits.
- Requests to change the account email, reset access or recover an account.
4. What we may request
Government-issued identification, a selfie or liveness check, proof of address, proof of payment-instrument ownership, or written consent evidence for a depicted individual. Verification documents are used only for verification, are access-restricted, and are deleted once the check is complete unless retention is required by law.
You must never submit AI-generated or altered images in a verification process; doing so is fraud and results in permanent termination.
5. Failure to verify
If verification is refused or fails, we may restrict features, freeze credits, suspend the account and, where appropriate, terminate it. Where funds are held for an unverifiable account, we may return unused amounts to the original payment method after deducting delivered services.
6. Administrator verification
Privileged administrative actions — role changes, email changes, password resets, account deletion, provider credential edits and impersonation — require additional authenticator verification and are recorded with actor, target, reason and timestamp.
