Recording & Media Usage Policy

Consent to record, export formats, storage limits and lawful distribution.

Effective date: 29 July 2026 · Applies to Deepacal, deepacal.com and all Deepacal applications.

2. What is recorded

Live recordings capture the processed AI output video and the associated audio track. Depending on your settings, recordings may be saved as WebM or converted to MP4 for compatibility with messaging and social platforms. Conversion is performed on your device where supported.

3. Storage in the Library

Recordings and generated media are stored privately in your Library and served through expiring signed links. We may impose storage quotas, size limits and retention windows. Live session metadata is purged after seven days. Download and back up anything you need; Deepacal is not a long-term archive.

4. Distribution

You are responsible for where you publish recordings. Third-party platforms apply their own synthetic-media, nudity, impersonation and copyright rules, and may refuse, label or remove your content. Compatibility of exported files with any particular platform is not guaranteed.

5. Prohibited recordings

  • Covert recording where consent is legally required.
  • Recording of confidential, privileged, classified or protected proceedings without authority.
  • Recording intimate or sexual content of any person without documented consent, and any such content involving minors.
  • Recording intended to harass, blackmail, defame or defraud.

6. Takedown

Individuals who appear in a recording stored on Deepacal without consent may request removal at abuse@deepacal.com. We will act promptly on verified requests.
