1. Our approach
Deepacal respects intellectual property rights and responds expeditiously to valid notices of claimed infringement under the US Digital Millennium Copyright Act, the EU Directive on Copyright in the Digital Single Market, and comparable regimes.
2. Submitting a takedown notice
Send a written notice to dmca@deepacal.com containing all of the following:
- Your physical or electronic signature, and whether you are the owner or an authorised agent.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed.
- Identification of the material claimed to be infringing, with enough detail to locate it — URLs, file identifiers, account email or timestamps.
- Your name, address, telephone number and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorised by the owner, its agent or the law.
- A statement that the information is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorised to act on the owner's behalf.
3. What we do
On receipt of a compliant notice we remove or disable access to the material, notify the account holder with a copy of the notice, and record the complaint. Knowingly false notices may attract liability for damages under 17 U.S.C. §512(f) and equivalent laws.
4. Counter-notice
If your material was removed in error or misidentification, send a counter-notice to dmca@deepacal.com containing:
- Your signature and contact details.
- Identification of the removed material and its former location.
- A statement under penalty of perjury of a good-faith belief that removal resulted from mistake or misidentification.
- Consent to the jurisdiction of a competent court where you reside or, if outside the US, of the courts specified in our Terms, and acceptance of service of process from the complainant.
5. Restoration
We may restore the material 10–14 business days after forwarding a valid counter-notice unless the complainant notifies us that they have filed proceedings seeking to restrain the activity.
6. Repeat infringers
Accounts that accumulate multiple valid, uncontested notices are terminated, credits are forfeited and re-registration is prohibited.
