1. Principle
We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the purpose it was collected, to comply with law, to resolve disputes and to enforce our agreements. Where a shorter period is technically possible without harming the service, we apply it.
2. Retention schedule
- Live session records, billing history entries, transaction logs and impersonation records — automatically purged after seven (7) days.
- Pending or unconfirmed payment attempts — cleared after twenty-four (24) hours.
- Recordings and generated media in your Library — kept until you delete them or close your account.
- Saved faces and uploaded source images — kept until you delete them or close your account.
- Studio jobs, templates, schedules and webhooks — kept while active, then removed on account closure.
- Verification and rental records for Numbers — retained for the shorter of the provider's retention period and our seven-day operational window, except where required for dispute resolution.
- Security, abuse and administrative audit logs — retained up to twelve (12) months, or longer where an investigation, legal claim or law-enforcement request requires it.
- Accounting and tax records — retained for the statutory period, typically six (6) years.
- Email delivery, bounce and suppression records — retained while necessary to protect deliverability.
- Backups — overwritten on a rolling cycle, normally within thirty (30) days.
3. Account deletion
Deleting your account anonymises your profile, zeroes credit balances, clears two-factor and session records, removes stored media links and deletes your authentication record. Anonymised or aggregated data that can no longer identify you may be retained.
Certain records must be retained after deletion: accounting entries, fraud and abuse records, and material subject to a legal hold or law-enforcement preservation request.
4. Erasure requests
You can request erasure at privacy@deepacal.com. We verify identity, action the request within thirty (30) days and confirm completion, explaining any data we are legally required to keep.
5. Provider-side retention
Media transmitted to third-party AI and telecom providers is subject to those providers' retention windows, which are typically short but outside our direct control. We select providers that offer limited retention and no training on customer content wherever a suitable option exists.
