1. What we use
- Strictly necessary storage — session and authentication tokens, two-factor verification state, CSRF and security tokens. The Services cannot function without these.
- Preference storage — your interface settings, such as quality and look options for Live, MP4 export preference, theatre mode, and dismissed prompts.
- Operational storage — short-lived caches of signed media URLs and query results to speed up the Library and Studio.
- Diagnostic data — error and performance logs used to detect faults and abuse.
2. What we do not use
Deepacal does not run third-party advertising cookies and does not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising. If analytics or marketing technologies are introduced in future, we will update this Policy and, where required, request consent first.
3. Managing storage
You can clear cookies and local storage in your browser settings or, in the desktop application, by clearing application data. Blocking strictly necessary storage will sign you out and break core features.
4. Retention
Session tokens persist until you sign out or they expire. Preference values persist on your device until cleared. Server-side diagnostic logs are retained on a short rolling basis as described in the Data Retention & Deletion Policy.
